The Revival of a Project
Well - if you've noticed the time between this post and the one before it, then you'll recognize that the website got off to a start about two years ago, and then abruptly fizzled. I have no real excuses other than you know how life gets in the way and our side projects all to easily get pushed to the side. That's what happened to me. I started something I had an idea for and but couldn't keep it going without some extra support and motivation.
Now that I'm in a better place mentally I feel like this is a project I want to dive back into and see where it leads. And with the help of two new team members - who also happen to be my best friends - I'm very excited to be embarking upon this journey again with them. You know the old song, "I get by with a little help from my friends" - well that really rings true for me.
And with that I would like to introduce you to our two new contributors and facilitators of this blog - Sam D and Samantha M! Both are fantastically talented humans who have many years of veganism behind them already. The three of us connected originally via social media several years ago - and we have organized countless animal rights protests and plant-powered events together since then.
Sam D (first photo above) has a natural knack for make up and graphic design and will be helping out with content on the blog as well as teaching us a thing or two about veganizing our kitchens! As the author of a number of vegan and gluten-free ebooks, Sam has a way of making any dish delicious and her recipes are super easy to follow! I'm very excited to see what she's gonna whip up for us!
Samantha M (second photo above) is a photographer, artist and creator with a specialty in vintage finds and ALL things plants!! She weaves her magic through her handmade goodies, photography and in the unique way she curates and cares for the land and the world around her. I'm very much looking forward to seeing what knowledge she can pass our way about cultivating a peaceful and compassionate space in our own homes.
For more info check out their websites below and be sure to follow them both on social media as well for updates about their individual projects!
